In a very special episode, Liz unlocks a new Alaska skill and shoots the first bullet of her life. And then shoots some more.

“I’ve never shot a gun in my life”. Can’t say that anymore. A friend generously offered to remedy this problem, and invited me to join him at the nearby rifle range.

I shot 3 different guns. I don’t remember which ones. They were increasingly “kick backy”. I learned how to load bullets, and cock back the hammer, and shoot. I learned that in a public range you have to holler if you want to run out to place or move targets without getting shot. It was pretty fun. I’m still a gun idiot, but slightly less than before!
