A moment of appreciation for the seals that sometimes decide to hang out on the docks in Auke Bay. I will miss them.

I got tipped off that these guys were in the harbor on the Juneau Photo Facebook group, and went down to the docks to hang out and get some photos. This was in the spring, so pretty chilly.

The photos mostly speak for themselves. The seals were adorable, and very interested in what I was up to. All eyes were on me if I made movements. Little heads popped up out of the water and looked right at me with big goggle eyes. Occasionally getting too close prompted them to plop back into the water, but for the most part they seemed pretty unbothered, or perhaps unmotivated to move.
