I bought a condo in a small 1950s apartment building in Denver. Time for a “before” tour!

Downsizing

I moved from a 3br/2ba house with a garage and two large sheds to a 2br/2ba apartment with a 4×4 storage closet. As such, in addition to the projects I have in mind below, I’m also decluttering decluttering decluttering all day every day.

Kitchen and nook

Good layout, but I’m definitely missing my pantry storage. I have plans that include lighting and countertops, at least. I’ve been decluttering since move in, but still feeling a bit cramped with this storage.

Living room

I’m planning to do some painting, and maybe built ins around the door out to my yard, if I’m feeling ambitious.

2 bathrooms and laundry

I’m planning to paint, update lighting, figure out a door for the laundry, and maybe get some new countertops.

2 bedrooms

Planning to paint and possibly swap out ceiling fans. That’s about it.
