A look at the garden as thing heat up in July.
Happenings
All kinds of plants are starting to pop up and/ or produce fruit! A few plants are struggling with the punishing hot sun, but most seem to be pretty cheerful. Tomatoes keep getting taller, peppers keep popping, cucumbers are climbing, and the acorn squash has started putting out blossoms.

Some new seedlings:
- Swiss chard
- Violet Trionfo beans
- Nasturtium (some stray volunteers)

Harvest
A modest harvest so far. Picked my first tomatoes, and the peppers continue to proliferate!

Up next
Iβm leaving the plants to fend for themselves (with water timers) for a week and a half. How will they do? Tune in next time to find out.
